The Boats

Purchasing a boat is an important investment, unavoidably subjected to a number of compromises which derive from contradictory requirements, such as:
- the available budget
- crew size
- the expected cruising style and area

Like in every irrational choices, each sailor has his own strong opinion and once decided, he develops an almost sentimental attachment to his boat of choice!

We are no exception and certainly our choices, even if initially based on rational considerations, are the end result of delicate balances and even, to some extent, of pure chance!  We hope our rationale may be of help for others to reach their own conclusions, but we are sure these will be different from our own.
